§ 28-172. Redemption after impoundment.

The owner or operator of any vehicle under this article may regain possession of the vehicle after first adducing adequate evidence of ownership or right to possession, and after paying or posting sufficient bond for the payment of the costs (not to exceed an amount as currently established or as hereafter adopted by resolution of the city council from time to time) of towage and a reasonable charge for storage incurred in the impoundment of the vehicle.
